Setup

Set up in two minutes. Then forget about it.

Do this once. Every night after that, it just works.

  1. Hands smoothing the grounding mat flat over the entire mattress and hooking the corner strap
    Step 01

    Cover your mattress

Lay the mat edge to edge like a fitted sheet and hook the corner straps. Bare-skin contact works best.

  2. A hand plugging the grounding cord into the ground port of a wall outlet
    Step 02

    Plug into the ground port

The cord snaps onto the mat and uses only your outlet's ground — the port that's wired to the earth. No electricity flows.

  3. A person sleeping peacefully with their arm and legs on the grounding mat
    Step 03

    Sleep grounded

That's the whole protocol. Eight hours of Earth contact a night, with zero effort.

Not sure your outlet is grounded? Plug in the included tester: a green light means you're connected.

  • Test your outlet firstPlug the tester into the outlet you'll use before your first night. Green means you're grounded.
  • Keep it clean, gentlyWipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry. No machine washing, bleach or oils.
  • Unplug during stormsAs with anything connected to your home's wiring, unplug the cord during electrical storms.

What sizes are available?

Single — 70 × 180 cm (28 × 71 in) for one sleeper, and Double / Queen / King — 140 × 180 cm (55 × 71 in) for two. Both include the grounding cord and the conductivity tester.

Can I use it with any mattress?

Yes. It works with foam, innerspring and latex mattresses. Elastic corner straps hold it in place, and your pillows sit right on top.

Do I need special outlets or equipment?

No. The cord plugs into the ground port of a standard grounded outlet: only the ground pin connects, and no electricity flows. Choose a US, UK, EU or AU plug at checkout.

Is setup complicated?

Not at all. Lay the mat over your mattress, hook the corner straps, snap on the cord and plug it into the ground port. It takes about two minutes.

How do I know if my outlet is grounded?

Every mat comes with a conductivity tester. Plug it in before your first night — a green light confirms your outlet is grounded and your mat is connected. Most modern three-prong outlets in the US, UK, EU and Australia are grounded by default.

What if my outlet isn't grounded?

Try another outlet near your bed and test it with the included tester. If none of them are grounded, an electrician can check your wiring, or you can connect to a grounding rod outdoors. Message us and we'll help you find a setup that works.

Every night

Using your mat.

How quickly will I notice results?

Many people notice deeper sleep within the first few nights. Customers most often report less stiffness and soreness over 2–4 weeks of nightly use, with steadier energy as their sleep improves. Grounding is cumulative — the more consistently you sleep on it, the more you tend to notice. Everyone is different, which is why you get 90 nights.

Do I need bare skin on the mat?

Bare-skin contact works best. Your legs, arms or feet resting on the mat are enough, so you can sleep the way you normally do.

Is it normal to feel tingling at first?

Some people notice mild tingling, vivid dreams or restlessness in the first few nights. It usually settles as you get used to it. If you'd like to ease in, start with 1–2 hours of grounding during the day, then build up to sleeping grounded overnight.

How do I care for the mat?

Wipe it with a soft, damp cloth and a little mild soap when needed, then let it air dry. Don't machine wash or tumble dry, and avoid bleach, harsh chemicals and oils — they wear down the conductive fabric. Cared for this way, your mat keeps its conductivity for years of nightly use.

Can pets use it?

Yes, pets are welcome on the mat. Keep the cord tidy and out of reach of anyone who likes to chew.

Can I use it during a thunderstorm?

Unplug it during electrical storms, as you would with anything connected to your home's wiring.

Health & safety

Safe, simple and honest.

What is grounding, and how does it work?

Grounding, also called earthing, means connecting your body to the Earth's surface, which carries a mild negative charge. Outdoors, that happens barefoot on grass, soil or sand. Indoors, the mat connects you through the ground port of a standard outlet, which is wired to a ground rod in the earth beneath your home.

Is grounding safe?

For most people, yes: no current is applied and the connection is passive. If you're under medical care or take medication, especially for blood thinning, blood sugar, blood pressure or thyroid conditions, talk to your doctor before you start.

Can I use it with a pacemaker or other medical device?

Talk to your physician before use if you have a pacemaker, an implanted defibrillator or another implanted device, or if you take blood-thinning medication. Grounding has been studied for its effects on the blood, so your doctor should weigh in first.

Can grounding help with a medical condition?

GroundingFlow is a wellness product. It isn't intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Many customers tell us they sleep more deeply and wake up less stiff, but individual results vary. If you have a medical condition, talk to your doctor.

What does the research say?

Small studies have looked at sleep, stress hormones, body voltage, recovery and mood. The results are promising, not proof. You can read every paper in our research library.
